Outside of that, Dragoncenter's recovery is also a OEM reinstall and can fix things fully/gives you the option of where to put it. TLDR: F3 Not working? Check if the computer has it on the wrong drive. This is for anyone who wants to restore this capability that is touted, since it'll be needed for those who might not be able to USB boot, or have bricked windows, and can't access Windows's or Dragoncenter's Recovery but during using it, it asked where to put the BIOS _RVYĪfter i did it and BIOS RVY was moved to the same harddrive- the F3 at Boot Recovery menu works! If 'Reagentc.exe set OS image false' appears, it means that the recovery failed is caused by Windows10 update. (alongside the WIN-RE drive which is windows's own recovery drive) I want to use the USB option so I plug my external hard drive in, but nothing pops up to hit next. I also, did some deep googling and with extreme luck found this - to try to repair it you dont necessarily need the msi recovery methods. So, I recently got a new GL65, and am loving it- but i quickly noticed the F3 Recovery option at start didn't seem to be working.
